Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical strategy for intricate regional accounts, demonstrating value and suitability, discovering new use cases, and nurturing customer growth over time.

• Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions with both technical and business stakeholders, uncovering objectives, constraints, and success criteria to facilitate strategic account planning, pinpointing essential accounts, and adjusting strategy as conditions evolve.

• Create and present customized demos and sandbox environments that link product features to the challenges faced by prospects, including defined success criteria, exit gates, and coordination among multiple stakeholders.

• Propose reference architectures suitable for both regulated and commercial IT settings, addressing concerns related to security, compliance, performance, and scalability while overcoming technical objections and collaborating with Services on Statement of Work inputs.

• Clearly communicate Vasion's unique advantages compared to alternatives and equip Account Executives, partners, and the wider Solutions Engineering team with reusable resources, competitive positioning, and technical selling expertise.

• Mentor and nurture team members in competitive positioning, discovery techniques, and demo execution. Enhance the technical standards across the team.

• Gather insights from the field that enhance the functions of Product, Engineering, Marketing, Services, and Customer Success while providing Sales and partners with reusable resources, opportunities for expansion, and strategic collaborations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in presales Solutions Engineering for SaaS or enterprise software.

• Proven ability to navigate complex purchasing environments, including procurement cycles, compliance requirements, and dynamics involving multiple stakeholders.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in English; additional language skills are advantageous for engagements with allied nations and coalitions.
