Solutions Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with Sales to promote Akamai's technology through presentations, analytical reports, and proof of concepts.

• Gaining an understanding of customers' business objectives and requirements, translating them into technical challenges, and aligning them with Akamai solutions.

• Managing project delivery with Service Delivery teams while ensuring alignment with customer specifications.

• Establishing trusted relationships with decision-makers at customer organizations to effectively communicate Akamai's value proposition and develop future revenue opportunities.

• Assisting Sales, Marketing, and other internal departments to guarantee customers receive timely updates, upgrades, and event-driven solutions.

• Collaborating closely with Product teams to shape product direction and strategy by sharing insights from the field.

• Mentoring and guiding staff within Solutions Engineering, Sales, and the broader Service & Support organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

• Should have knowledge or comprehension in one or more areas including: CDN, Media Streaming, Cloud, or Web security.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as technical sales or consulting, is required.

• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, along with the ability to collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders, are essential.

• Must demonstrate sound business judgment and a passion for fostering exceptional client relationships.

• Possess strong problem-solving abilities, a results-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

• Experience with HTTP, DNS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, or programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go is required.
