Solutions Engineer, German Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Sales Teams and prospects to evaluate and implement Algolia solutions.

• Comprehend and qualify customer objectives using KPIs while effectively communicating Algolia’s capacity to fulfill them.

• Support the Sales process through activities such as discovery, demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (POC), RFP responses, and business justification.

• Create custom search applications utilizing the tools, frameworks, and partners within the Algolia ecosystem.

• Advocate for customer interests, needs, and product feedback to relay to Product and Engineering teams.

• Engage in continuous learning to enhance skills and remain informed about industry trends in the Search and Discovery domain, contributing to thought leadership to make Algolia more accessible globally.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition to the post-sales process, facilitating highly successful onboarding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in German, both spoken and written.

• Over 4 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), preferably within the SaaS industry.

• Previous experience in software development in one or more of the following areas: Front End: JavaScript, TypeScript, React; Back-End: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C.

• Familiarity with data formats and data transformation processes.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple customer requests while swiftly switching contexts throughout the day, with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience working at our current stage and beyond ($150-300M+ ARR range), characterized by high growth, significant changes, and the development of internal infrastructure.
