This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Collaborating with the Account Executive to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect's technical landscape, challenges related to Cloud Data Platform costs, optimization objectives, and critical business goals through detailed technical discovery sessions.
• Taking ownership of the technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) initiatives for SELECT, which involves thorough POC preparation, proactive management, and ensuring successful technical outcomes that clearly demonstrate value and alignment with prospect needs.
• Customizing and delivering engaging demonstrations of the SELECT platform to prospects, effectively highlighting its features and addressing their unique use cases and concerns.
• Utilizing your analytical expertise and in-depth knowledge of Cloud Data Platforms to create persuasive business cases and comprehensive ROI analyses that clearly express the tangible value, cost savings, and performance enhancements achievable with SELECT.
• Establishing yourself as the primary expert within the organization for SELECT, ensuring that prospects attain optimal outcomes and an effortless implementation experience.
• Fully owning the technical success for SELECT engagements, guiding prospects through the technical evaluation phase, addressing all technical needs, and instilling confidence in the solution.
• Representing DoiT and SELECT at company events and industry conferences, delivering engaging presentations and demonstrations to a broader audience, showcasing our expertise in Snowflake/Databricks (and soon BigQuery) optimization alongside platform capabilities.
• Converting customer challenges and feature gaps into structured, technically sound feedback for R&D teams. Advocating for the technical customer’s perspective in roadmap discussions.
• Ensuring timely data entry into internal business support systems. Contributing to systems and tools that provide essential business information and metrics to emphasize performance and effectiveness.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering position within a B2B SaaS software organization, with a significant part of that experience focused on selling to Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery users and addressing challenges related to Cloud Data Platforms or cloud cost management.
• A profound and demonstrable comprehension of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, along with associated best practices.
• Practical experience working with SaaS solutions that emphasize Cloud Data Platforms in areas such as observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration.
• Outstanding data analysis capabilities with a proven track record of identifying key trends, anomalies, and correlations, as well as translating those insights into actionable recommendations.
• A strong history of leveraging product data to build persuasive business cases and ROI justifications for potential customers, clearly illustrating the significant cost savings and performance improvements attainable through our solution.
• Exceptional skill in articulating complex concepts related to Cloud Data Platforms and SELECT functionalities in a clear, concise, and easily digestible manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Superior verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities, with the confidence and expertise to discuss sophisticated topics such as Cloud Data Platform optimization strategies and the compelling value proposition of SELECT.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, remarkable problem-solving skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement within the evolving Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery landscape.
• Proven experience engaging with and presenting to executive-level prospects and clients on critical topics related to Cloud Data Platforms, particularly in cost management.
• Demonstrated experience with modern technical selling practices and methodologies, along with a successful track record in competitive sales settings, including the ability to contribute to and implement effective trial, demo, and RFP processes tailored specifically for Cloud Data Platform optimization solutions like SELECT.
• Prior professional experience as a Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery data engineer/architect or FinOps expert is advantageous.
• A proven track record of success in a fast-paced, scaling business environment, ideally within the Cloud Data Platform ecosystem.
