
Solutions Engineer – DAM Practice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Maintain a personal billable rate of 75%
• Accurately log time utilizing Jira and Tempo
• Communicate workload, task status, and obstacles to managers and project leaders
• Act as the primary functional and technical consultant for client implementations, asset lifecycle design, migrations, and systems integrations
• Facilitate discovery sessions with marketing, creative, and IT stakeholders
• Assist clients in assessing and selecting DAM platforms
• Support pre-sales efforts through technical scoping, solution design, and platform evaluations
• Collect requirements for DAM integrations with PIM, CMS, ecommerce, and creative workflow tools
• Work collaboratively with and delegate tasks to DAM Specialists on configuration and deployment
• Partner with development teams on systems integrations
• Resolve issues related to permissions, workflow automation, rendition, and integration
• Optimize configurations for performance and uptime as asset volume increases
• Take ownership of technical specifications and architecture documentation for migrations, configuration, and integrations
• Lead internal assessments of emerging DAM technologies
• Manage and enhance DAM delivery tools, migration and implementation methodologies, and governance frameworks
• Assist in creating strategic roadmaps that align with enterprise architecture
• Evaluate and score new platforms and tools
• Review configurations and integrations prior to launch
• Drive change management initiatives for new DAM workflows and enhancements
• Advocate for standardization and documentation of DAM workflows, integrations, and governance
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Digital Media, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
• Rutgers Digital Asset Management (DAM) Bronze Certificate or other DAM certifications are advantageous
• 5+ years of experience in DAM within consulting, in-house, or agency settings
• 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or systems architecture delivering DAM solutions
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent clients and workstreams in a professional services or digital agency environment
• Experience facilitating in-person workshops and discovery sessions
• Experience leading complex, multi-system implementations and integrations
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including scoping, DAM platform evaluations, and technical proposal development
• Proficient in Jira and Tempo
• Experience drafting system documentation, including technical requirements, metadata schemas, and asset lifecycle diagrams
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite and client leadership
• Extensive hands-on experience with one or more DAM platforms such as Aprimo, Bynder, Cloudinary, or Orange Logic
• Experience with asset lifecycle automation, change management, and integrations
• Understanding of REST APIs and API-based data ingestion and asset delivery workflows
• Ability to analyze and model large, complex datasets
• Familiarity with PIM, CMS, and ecommerce platforms
• Preferred working schedule in EST
