Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will be integrated directly with client engineering teams — participating in their codebases, attending their standups, and addressing their challenges.

• Your role involves bridging the activation gap: conducting discovery on current engineering practices, pinpointing where existing SDLC processes falter with the introduction of coding agents, and reconfiguring how teams deliver software. This involves enacting change through collaboration and leading by example.

• Collaborate with clients within their codebases, showcasing agentic workflows in real-time.

• Partner with individual engineers to assist them in transitioning from "I tried it" to "this has transformed my daily work."

• Educate through practical application, making codebases agent-friendly by utilizing rules files, custom skills, MCPs, and more.

• Conduct discovery sessions with engineering leadership to identify the genuine sources of workflow friction — rather than relying on assumptions.

• Determine how existing SDLC processes are disrupted by the introduction of coding agents — such as QA bottlenecks, poorly defined requirements, and review debt — and redesign these processes.

• Design and implement upskilling programs tailored to the client's technology stack and organizational culture, avoiding generic content.

• Document successful strategies and provide feedback to the practice — you are contributing to the development of the playbook rather than merely executing it.

• Recognize repeatable patterns across different engagements and assist in scaling this service within Tribe.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have genuinely restructured your work around agentic coding tools — Claude Code or Codex is your primary tool, and you can specifically articulate the changes it has brought.

• You possess significant experience within large engineering organizations (100+ engineers) and comprehend the dynamics of enterprise operations.

• You have experience in consulting or a related field, or have spearheaded developer productivity/DX initiatives from within an AI-forward company.

• You find the challenge of enterprise transformation genuinely engaging, rather than a necessary burden.

• You thrive on elevating the entire room's performance — not just those engineers who are already enthusiastic.
