Principal Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Comprehend the technologies, limitations, and implementation challenges related to application security and cloud security programs.

• Grasp the business, security, and compliance difficulties faced by customers.

• Align Veracode solutions with the business and technical demands of customers.

• Showcase the Veracode platform, value proposition, and technology to prospects, customers, and partners.

• Complete requests for proposals (RFPs), security questionnaires, and third-party security attestations.

• Convey Veracode’s vision, strategy, and product roadmaps to executives and technical management.

• Offer customer-focused feedback to internal product development teams to influence the future trajectory of Veracode solutions.

• Engage in industry and channel conferences/events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in the information security or development operations sector.

• Proven experience in positioning and selling enterprise applications, systems management, and/or business continuity solutions is essential.

• Desired experience in Application Penetration Assessment (including URL manipulation, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, back-end authentication, password in memory, session hijacking, buffer overflow, web server configuration, credential management, Clickjacking, etc.).

• Practical experience with Snyk, Checkmarx, GitHub Advanced Security, and open-source tools.

• Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and CNAPP solutions.

• Desired expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability scanning and assessments, security architecture, application development, and compliance knowledge (HIPAA, PCI, ISO/COBIT, FISMA).

• Experience in SDLC, including integration, application servers, database architecture, and network architecture is beneficial.

• Knowledge of shell scripting & Perl, Java, .NET (C# and ASP, .Net) is preferred.

• Excellent customer-facing and relationship-building skills.

• Capability to identify business challenges and devise tailored solutions to address those issues.

• Pre-sales experience with large enterprises and ISVs is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel as required.
