This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• Collaborate with sales teams to evaluate customer networks, gather technical requirements and challenges, and develop customized solution designs with quantifiable business results.
• Architect, test, and implement multi-path traffic orchestration systems across satellite and terrestrial environments utilizing Quvia products and third-party integrations.
• Configure customer profiles at the network edge, in the cloud, and within data centers/POPs.
• Oversee end-to-end proofs of concept, which include defining success criteria, designing solutions, specifying hardware, and managing installation, configuration, and testing.
• Diagnose complex issues in collaboration with customers, QA, and Engineering teams.
• Manage the transition from proof of concept to production.
• Apply scripting and DevOps methodologies for configuration templating, workflow automation, and consistent deployments.
• Provide customers with guidance on best practices and optimal usage of terrestrial and satellite communication systems.
• Deliver status updates and performance metrics to customer stakeholders.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops for both customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate efforts with sales, product management, systems, engineering, QA, and service delivery teams.
• Create and maintain detailed solution and service documentation.
• Ensure effective handovers to relevant teams upon project completion.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering across terrestrial and/or satellite communications, including multi-link architecture.
• Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as routing and switching, network security, wireless, and datacenter networking.
• Practical experience with software-defined networking (SDN), multi-vendor SD-WAN, and Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) technologies, including Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, Cisco (Meraki/Viptela), Cradlepoint (Ericsson), Palo Alto, or similar enterprise solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting and DevOps within a networking context, including Python, REST APIs, configuration orchestration, zero-touch provisioning, and workflow automation.
• Proven history of leading customer-facing proofs of concept, deployments, or migrations in large enterprise settings.
• Skill in translating customer networks, technical requirements, and challenges into business outcomes, and effectively conveying value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with managing virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently lead discussions with customers at both engineering and executive levels.
• Commercial insight with the ability to identify opportunities for cost reduction, delivery simplification, and new market segment exploration through solution design.
• Experience in project management and capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Knowledge and experience with satellite communication (SATCOM) systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted networking and security, such as Azure or AWS-hosted NGFW, is a plus.
