This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Collaborate with account executives to define evaluations, conduct technical discovery, and design proof of concepts (POCs) based on customer use cases.
• Act as the technical expert during architecture assessments, security and infrastructure inquiries, and competitive analysis.
• Co-design and co-develop production AI agents alongside customer engineering teams from prototype development to deployment.
• Assist customers in deploying and managing conversational agents, research agents, and multi-step workflows.
• Conduct demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for developer audiences.
• Provide post-sale advice to customers on architecture, best practices, and high-level strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities for expansion through discussions with customers.
• Communicate field feedback to product teams.
• Create reusable POC assets, cookbooks, and example code.
• Contribute code upstream to enhance customer outcomes.
• Over 6 years of experience in a relevant technical position such as solutions engineering, sales engineering, customer engineering, software engineering, or product engineering.
• Proficiency in managing the technical aspects of the sales process, including discovery, POCs, architecture assessments, and competitive evaluations.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical trade-offs and establish trust with developer audiences.
• Proven track record of taking ownership for results, rather than just providing recommendations.
• Proactive mindset and willingness to troubleshoot and learn along the way.
• Genuine enthusiasm for operating AI agents in a production environment.
• Experience with production AI agents, particularly utilizing frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar (preferred).
• Experience in carrying a technical quota or collaborating with a sales team on a pipeline (preferred).
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation, observability, or implementing guardrails (preferred).
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with containers and foundational Kubernetes concepts (preferred).
