This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +4 more states.
• Oversee the Solutions function that supports new business initiatives, strategic client engagements, and growth in retained revenue.
• Provide leadership during discovery phases, current-state assessments, solution design, technology demonstrations, proposal creation, and agreement facilitation.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and assess the performance of the Solutions team.
• Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team that emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Act as the primary resource for solution design on large, complex, or strategic client projects.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to enhance winning strategies, deal positioning, and the conversion of qualified opportunities.
• Facilitate executive-level discovery sessions, workshops, solution presentations, and reviews of findings.
• Convert client goals, operational needs, and challenges into scalable solution strategies.
• Assist in proposal creation by outlining solution scope, assumptions, and value propositions.
• Develop partnerships with Sales, Implementation, Client Services, Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership.
• Ensure solutions are practical, executable, ready for implementation, and aligned with the company's strategy.
• Develop and refine Solutions processes, tools, templates, best practices, and performance metrics.
• Monitor team performance, KPIs, and business outcomes to enhance effectiveness and support revenue growth.
• Recommend improvements to services, solution capabilities, and internal processes.
• Maintain expertise in transportation, logistics, TMS, and emerging industry trends.
• Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, logistics, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-10+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, consulting, solution design, or a related field.
• Proven experience working within a complex organizational matrix and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to build relationships, establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve business goals.
• Progressive experience in leading, motivating, coaching, and developing teams while ensuring accountability.
• Strong consultative solution design experience supporting intricate client environments and revenue-generating initiatives.
• Extensive experience presenting to executive leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Robust analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management capabilities.
• Strong consultative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and promote continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Visio or similar process-mapping tools.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Willingness to work occasionally on weekends and evenings during peak times.
• Local travel is required; limited out-of-state travel may be necessary for special training or conferences.
• Full-time benefits-eligible position.
• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
