This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to showcase new Ramp products and features to current customers, crafting a compelling business case for expansion through tailored demonstrations and workflow illustrations.
• Analyze customer needs for growth opportunities, evaluating alignment through use-case analysis, ROI assessments, and technical scoping.
• Create and suggest optimal Ramp architecture — including the appropriate use of APIs, ERP integrations, and HRIS connectors — tailored to each customer's existing systems and workflows.
• Serve as a technical advisor to both customers and internal teams, guiding them in integration, configuration, and system design decisions without directly writing code.
• Resolve ERP and integration obstacles, assisting customers in navigating complex configuration choices across platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion, and others.
• Assist Account Managers with technical workflows, ensuring a quicker time-to-value during product launches and expansions.
• Be recognized as a subject matter expert in accounting systems and integration partners; promote integration development aligned with customer needs in collaboration with Product and Partners.
• Impact Ramp's product roadmap by conveying customer pain points and feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Aid in the development of internal documentation, tools, and knowledge bases that enhance Ramp's capacity to support integration use cases for a growing customer base.
• Over 3 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Technical Consulting, Implementation, or similar customer-facing technical roles within SaaS or fintech.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting workflows.
• Proficient in APIs, integration logic, and system architecture — with the ability to clearly articulate these concepts to finance and operations stakeholders.
• Proven experience conducting product demonstrations and translating intricate technical capabilities into clear business value.
• Excellent communication skills: capable of leading customers towards scalable solutions while diplomatically guiding conversations when requests do not align with product capabilities or best practices.
• A collaborative approach; effective in working cross-functionally with Account Management, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced settings; highly organized, ownership-driven, and resourceful as Ramp expands its upmarket initiatives.
