This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Enhance POS reporting within the designated territory by fostering relationships with end users, distributors, and manufacturing partners.
• Establish and nurture partnerships to meet regional and national end user growth targets.
• Conduct a minimum of 10 end-user sales visits and generate at least 10 opportunities each week.
• Execute and document product demonstrations, assessments, and follow-ups on opportunities.
• Conduct business reviews with distributors focusing on engagement, pipeline, closed business, manufacturers, and quarterly planning.
• Oversee key opportunities and the pipeline in Salesforce to achieve or surpass territory objectives.
• Facilitate strategy sessions with manufacturers concerning pipeline, engagement, POS figures, and planning goals.
• Drive revenue growth through opportunity creation, pipeline management, and adherence to LineDrive strategic selling principles.
• Review and maintain Salesforce records, including pipeline, accounts, contacts, parent/child relationships, opportunities, and activities.
• Develop call plans and collaborate with Inside Sales on opportunity advancement, meetings, and follow-ups.
• Travel within the assigned geographic area.
• Analyze territory coverage, Power BI data, and POS data to discover trends and identify opportunity gaps.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations on targeted marketing campaigns.
• Deliver manufacturer solution presentations and conduct distributor sales training sessions.
• Work alongside Safety Specialists on territory strategies, training, pipeline management, and targeting end users.
• Accurately complete expense reports and administrative tasks on time.
• Meet assigned manufacturer and distributor sales targets while maintaining pipeline and CRM compliance.
• 3–5 years of experience in outside sales is required.
• Background in MRO industrial supply is required.
• Strong knowledge of industrial distribution channels and the dynamics between manufacturers and distributors.
• Prior experience in industrial distribution, such as with Grainger, Fastenal, or MSC Industrial, is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM tools; Salesforce experience is preferred.
• Experience utilizing analytics platforms like Power BI.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills for conducting group training sessions.
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to align solutions to customer requirements.
• Capability to interpret data for strategic planning and prioritizing opportunities.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing a portfolio of business.
• Effective time and territory management capabilities.
• Flexibility to adjust priorities while keeping long-term objectives in focus.
• Collaborative working style with cross-functional teams including Inside Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturers.
• Commitment to continuous improvement through feedback, learning, and innovation.
• Must have and maintain a valid Class C driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Sufficient close and distance vision to navigate facilities safely.
• Capacity to walk through end-user facilities for up to 5 hours at a time.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
