This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Act as the subject matter expert regarding Procurify's platform and the realms of procure-to-pay, spend management, and accounts payable automation.
• Keep abreast of competitor activities and develop competitive positioning strategies for the Sales and Marketing teams.
• Document win/loss insights, create battlecards, and develop objection-handling resources.
• Collaborate with Product Management to address competitive gaps, gather market feedback, and identify integration requirements.
• Conduct consultative discovery sessions focusing on procurement and accounts payable workflows, technical environments, and business drivers.
• Create and present story-driven demonstrations tailored to the business case of prospects.
• Develop reusable demo environments, vertical narratives, and supporting proof points.
• Define both out-of-the-box and custom API integrations with ERP and accounting systems.
• Work alongside Account Executives throughout complex sales processes, from initial qualification to closing deals.
• Manage responses to RFPs/RFIs, security and IT questionnaires, and prepare solution documentation.
• Deliver presentations to CFOs, Controllers, and finance and procurement executives.
• Assess customer needs and address intricate workflow and approval-routing challenges.
• Train new Sales hires on demos, discovery methodologies, and competitive strategies.
• Enhance new clients' comprehension of the platform and services prior to transitioning them to Customer Success.
• Provide insights on market trends, competition, and win/loss scenarios to the Product Team.
• Undertake additional related responsibilities as assigned.
• Over 4 years of experience in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales Consultant role within the B2B SaaS sector.
• Strongly preferred experience with providers in procure-to-pay, spend management, or accounts payable automation.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of procurement and accounts payable workflows, purchase-to-pay cycles, approval routing, and financial controls.
• Demonstrated success in conducting discovery sessions and delivering demos for complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise or mid-market engagements.
• Direct experience competing against or working with relevant providers.
• A consultative, inquisitive, and agile mindset.
• Proven ability to manage technical workstreams throughout full sales cycles, including RFPs, security assessments, technical scoping, and executive presentations.
• Familiarity with ERP and accounting system integrations as well as API concepts.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Maintain a current LinkedIn profile and update it upon joining the organization.
