📋 Description

• The Solutions Consultant will play a crucial role as a deal strategist. They will collaborate with Sales, Client Success, and Consultant Relations to evaluate the needs of prospective and current clients, suggest optimal solutions, and assist in executing a customized growth and retention strategy for assigned opportunities.

• Act as the go-to expert for inquiries regarding product offerings (both current and future), savings projections, analytics, network scope, quality methodologies, technical integrations, member experience, success stories, and general industry insights for the Commercial teams and potential clients. They will customize best practice suggestions related to plan design, ecosystem integrations, and targeted marketing based on their expertise.

• Aid growth and retention by providing expertise throughout the sales and renewal/upsell processes, including assessing the most suitable solutions in partnership with Health Plan and Channel Sales/Client Management/Consultant Relations, while ensuring comprehensive discovery is conducted.

• Serve as a liaison to the broader organization, facilitating collaboration among relevant internal stakeholders to support the deal (e.g., Consultant Relations and Channel Partnerships), and playing a significant role in assisting with presentations, product demonstrations, and RFPs.

• Collaborate internally to address complex and/or non-standard needs of prospective clients, working across various teams including Product, Network, Analytics, Implementation, Operations, Legal, Finance, Member and Partner Marketing, Client Success, and Clinical. Act as a connector between the sales process and ongoing Client Success to ensure that proposal commitments are recognized and fulfilled. Comprehend and respond to custom RFP inquiries and follow-up requests to develop standardized responses that have been field-tested.

• Relay insights and patterns from the field back to cross-functional leadership for broader integration into product packaging and go-to-market strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10-15 years of professional experience in consulting and/or a customer-facing role within health and benefits, or equivalent experience as a Solutions Consultant/Architect in digital health and benefits.

• Strong strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities; solution-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to clearly articulate complex information and messages to a wide-ranging audience, both internal and external.

• Significant analytical experience in working with and visualizing data.

• Solid understanding of the mechanics of self-funded medical plans and the interactions between health plans/third-party administrators, healthcare providers, and plan sponsors.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting, both in client-facing situations and behind the scenes.

• Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment; organized, adaptable, diligent, and self-driven.
