This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide technical leadership and assist customers in their security transformation journeys.
• Develop technical solutions that safeguard customers’ critical business objectives.
• Take full technical ownership for assigned accounts, encompassing solution alignment, deployment excellence, user adoption, and ongoing technical wellness.
• Advocate for Palo Alto Networks’ offerings in on-premises, cloud, and security operations.
• Create and execute strategic technical account plans for intricate sales engagements.
• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to comprehend and align with the technical and operational goals of prospects and customers.
• Establish relationships with C-level executives, including CIOs, CISOs, and CSOs.
• Position, showcase, and develop high-level designs utilizing the Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
• Lead intricate technical validation initiatives.
• Promote integrated solutions and collaborate with Professional Services to enhance customer outcomes and platform utilization.
• Act as the primary technical consultant for designated accounts.
• Track customer engagement and outcomes to uncover optimization prospects, emerging needs, and potential risks.
• Work alongside Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialists, Channel partners, and Support teams.
• Conduct technical engagements, solution presentations, demonstrations, and workshops.
• Distinguish Palo Alto Networks solutions through competitive insights, objection management, and technical advocacy.
• Continuously enhance technical and professional knowledge while contributing to the Solutions Consultant community.
• Minimum of 6 years of technical pre-sales experience is required.
• Proven success in selling, implementing, or managing SaaS solutions is highly preferred.
• A consistent record of meeting or surpassing sales objectives.
• Demonstrated experience in executing seven-figure opportunities involving lengthy sales cycles, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions.
• Ability to influence and secure buy-in from key stakeholders in customer-facing scenarios.
• Experience in independently developing and delivering tailored technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements across diverse environments for strategic customer accounts.
• Pre-Sales experience with large, complex enterprises, often with multi-billion-dollar revenues and global or multi-regional operations.
• Capability to manage 10–30 high-value accounts.
• Technical knowledge or experience in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, SASE, or AI Security.
• Experience collaborating with customer success or support teams to ensure effective implementation and drive solution adoption is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in architecting and positioning cybersecurity solutions to tackle technical challenges and support new business initiatives is highly preferred.
• A strong sense of technical curiosity and commitment to self-development in emerging fields.
• High proficiency in AI technologies.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
• Restricted stock units may be part of the compensation package.
