Solutions Architect – Technical Team Lead, AWS, MCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Establish and take ownership of the cloud-native architecture on AWS for this MCP project, ensuring it is scalable and secure from the outset.

• Direct the technical team (engineers, AI specialists) engaged in this project, remaining actively involved in coding and architectural decisions.

• Serve as the main technical liaison with the client, effectively translating intricate architectural choices into clear business advantages.

• Develop the strategy for agentic workflows, RAG implementations, and MCP-based integrations.

• Perform code reviews, uphold engineering best practices, and lead technical interviews to evaluate talent as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–6+ years of demonstrated experience in Team Lead and Solutions Architect positions, guiding cross-functional teams through the complete SDLC, while remaining engaged with coding and architecture.

• 2–3+ years of direct experience in AI projects, including LLM ecosystems (OpenAI, Anthropic), orchestrators (LangChain / LangGraph), and RAG architectures.

• Direct, hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or developing integration layers for agent-to-tool communication.

• Expert-level knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, SQS, Cognito, and more.

• Must possess AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent).

• Proficient in advanced Terraform (modules, remote state, multi-environment) and have solid experience in Docker containerization, including CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Strong proficiency in Python for pipelines, API development, and data processing (knowledge of Java backend is a plus).

• Experience with Vector Databases, covering index design, metadata schemas, and hybrid search.

• Excellent English communication skills, capable of navigating both executive discussions and technical deep-dives with equal ease.
