Solutions Architect – Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Facilitate customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, assessments, and discussions regarding security roadmaps.

• Architect secure networks, data centers, cloud solutions, and hybrid infrastructure designs.

• Leverage expertise in firewalls, perimeter security, intrusion prevention, security monitoring and SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, risk management, and secure network architecture.

• Create Cisco-centric security recommendations, solution designs, bills of materials, demonstrations, and technical responses to RFPs.

• Assist in Cisco security sales efforts, covering secure networking, next-generation firewall updates, SASE, and security for AI and data center settings.

• Collaborate with Cisco sales representatives and Systems Engineers to generate a qualified pipeline, enhance technical win rates, and aid in customer adoption.

• Convert technical recommendations into tangible business value, risk mitigation, and operational results.

• Participate in project scoping, drafting statements of work, delivering customer presentations, and transitioning to delivery teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing enterprise network security and infrastructure solutions.

• Proven customer-facing experience in technical discovery, solution design, presentations, and solution sales.

• Proficient knowledge of Cisco security and secure networking technologies.

• Capability to align Cisco offerings with data center and AI demands.

• Familiarity with firewalls, IPS, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud and hybrid security, SASE, and security policy formulation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with technical writing and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Experience with NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, or similar security and compliance standards is advantageous.

• Cisco CCNP Security certification preferred.

• CCIE Security or equivalent security certifications are considered a plus.
