Solutions Architect, LMS, EdTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Discovery & Solution Design: Assess existing legacy systems, operational workflows, and infrastructure constraints, with an emphasis on optimizing bandwidth and managing high-volume traffic.

• LMS Architecture: Create advanced, scalable LMS frameworks driven by Moodle and innovative EdTech solutions.

• Technical Proposal & Specs: Develop comprehensive architectural designs, incorporating trade-off evaluations, risk analyses, project delivery timelines, and projections for Azure cloud usage.

• Delivery Governance: Act as the chief technical authority for engineering teams comprising over 20 developers, ensuring compliance with stringent security and coding standards.

• Risk Mitigation: Take proactive measures to resolve architectural weaknesses, system bottlenecks, and technical liabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Moodle Architecture: In-depth technical expertise in optimizing large-scale Moodle environments, including custom plugin creation and management of database schemas.

• Leadership & Governance: Significant experience in guiding large engineering teams (20+ developers) on enterprise-level projects.

• Development Stack: Extensive knowledge of the PHP ecosystem and Laravel framework for building robust web architectures and scalable APIs.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong understanding of cloud-native setups, preferably Azure, covering microservices, containerization, and performance-optimized web configurations.

• EdTech Standards: Practical experience in implementing industry standards (LTI, SCORM, xAPI) alongside complex integrations with Student Information Systems (SIS).

• Communication: Excellent consultative skills with the capacity to simplify technical complexities into valuable insights for executive and academic audiences.
