Solutions Architect – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Interact with clients to comprehend their needs and recommend suitable solution architectures.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure client requirements are aligned with solution design.

• Partner with Delivery Managers to supervise the architectural approach during the implementation of solutions.

• Investigate options and innovative alternatives to pinpoint effective solutions.

• Guarantee that solutions are executed in accordance with client expectations and company standards.

• Identify, specify, and choose off-the-shelf components to fulfill client requirements.

• Offer continuous client support and guidance throughout the implementation process.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance solutions.

• Provide design and delivery expertise for progressive solutions within a modern cloud-based insurance framework.

• Create customized solutions utilizing AWS and/or GCP, as well as open-source, PaaS, and SaaS components.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery roles within the insurance sector, with exposure to various lines of business.

• Proven experience in delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise setting.

• Capability to assist in defining and promoting a product/enterprise roadmap.

• Skill in translating client needs into actionable steps and solution architectures.

• Knowledge of business architecture models and patterns.

• Experience in designing and implementing innovative solutions to address business challenges.

• Familiarity with cloud-based applications that require high availability and scalable solutions.

• Experience in designing solutions in both relational database and NoSQL environments.

• Proficiency in designing API and microservices-centric architectures.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including SSO, SAML integration, and identity federation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to gather business requirements from corporate clients.

• Ability to develop value propositions, solution documents, and occasionally business cases for corporate clients.

• Experience in relationship management with corporate clients.

• Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Excellent decision-making and judgment capabilities.

• Understanding of insurance business processes across all areas and familiarity with at least two lines of business.

• Certification in an architectural discipline such as TOGAF or Zachman is a plus.

• Certification in at least one cloud environment is advantageous.

• High proficiency in English as the primary language.
