Solutions Architect – Azure PaaS, Software Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Solution Design: Develop comprehensive architecture diagrams that illustrate data flows, integrations, and components within the Azure ecosystem.

• Component Selection: Establish the strategic deployment of services including Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.

• Modernization: Oversee the transition of legacy systems to microservices, event-driven, or serverless architectures.

• Technical Governance: Ensure that the solution design adheres to security, performance, and financial (FinOps) standards, while not necessarily managing the infrastructure.

• Technical Liaison: Serve as a conduit between business stakeholders and Development/DevOps teams to guarantee that the implementation aligns with the proposed design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Azure PaaS: Extensive experience with platform as a service (PaaS) and serverless offerings.

• Integration: Expertise in various integration patterns such as APIs, Webhooks, Pub/Sub, and messaging.

• Data Architecture: Proficient in data modeling and making informed decisions between SQL and NoSQL databases based on specific workloads.

• Application Security: Understanding of identity management (Azure AD / Entra ID), OAuth2, and secrets management (Key Vault) from a software development perspective.

• Nice-to-have: AZ-305 (Solutions Architect) or AZ-204 (Developing Solutions for Azure) certifications.

• Knowledge of physical network configuration including VNETs, subnets, and ExpressRoute.

• Experience in managing virtual machines or operating systems.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes (AKS) cluster administration (infrastructure), viewed from the application architecture standpoint.
