Solutions Architect

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams while reporting to Engineering to design, maintain, and improve Zip-owned ERP and integration templates that facilitate scalable and repeatable customer implementations.

• Architect & standardize Jaggaer integrations: Develop, maintain, and refine Zip’s primary Jaggaer (Sourcing, eProcurement, and Invoicing) integration templates to ensure they provide scalable, repeatable, and robust customer implementations.

• Bridge product & the field: Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) to ensure that integration templates align seamlessly with core product architecture, field insights, and evolving customer needs.

• Turn nuance into scale: Examine complex customer implementations to identify reusable data mapping patterns and system nuances, transforming bespoke solutions into standardized internal assets.

• Support pre-sales engineering: Collaborate with account teams during pre-sales to design and evaluate integration architectures, ensuring prospective customers are prepared for smooth, best-practice deployments.

• Drive technical implementation excellence: Define, document, and advocate for technical solution consulting best practices, elevating the technical standard and ensuring consistency across all implementations.

• Become a Multi-ERP expert: Utilize your existing Jaggaer, P2P, and procurement systems expertise to develop deep knowledge across additional ERP ecosystems, ultimately becoming the foremost subject matter expert on integration architecture, data models, and Zip’s App Studio.

• Build for permanent scale: Tackle every technical challenge with an engineering mindset—designing and executing a solution thoroughly once so that future implementations occur effortlessly. You balance high-level architectural design with a readiness to engage directly in API configurations and template adjustments to ensure the job is completed correctly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with Jaggaer or comparable enterprise procurement and spend management platforms.

• Strong foundational understanding of core Jaggaer business processes, workflow logic, and data models, particularly within eProcurement, Invoicing, Supplier Management, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

• Familiarity with standard Jaggaer integration methods, including Jaggaer REST/SOAP APIs, direct data transfers, and standard e-procurement data structures.

• Familiarity with iPaaS tools is preferred; however, we welcome candidates with robust core integration logic who can quickly learn new platform tools.

• Experience with cXML/XML/REST-based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.

• Previous experience in ERP implementation, integration, configuration, or administration is required.

• Ability to convey highly technical information to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

• Comfortable working with API documentation.

• Proficient in testing and troubleshooting integration errors.

• Capable of understanding customer requirements and documenting that information promptly with minimal oversight.
