Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable advisor for clients, assisting them with their data engineering and data architecture requirements.

• Design, construct, and implement extensive data solutions to facilitate AI, ML, and business intelligence projects.

• Partner with sales teams to showcase technical solutions to potential clients.

• Oversee multiple customer accounts, ensuring solutions are delivered promptly.

• Develop data solutions while incorporating best practices in data governance, security, and quality.

• Assess data sources for their utility and suggest strategies for data inclusion.

• Lead internal teams, offering guidance and mentorship to project groups.

• Conduct system analysis to identify and resolve data and system issues.

• Verify the accuracy and reliability of data movement, transformation code, and data components through testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years as a hands-on Solutions Architect and/or Senior Data Engineer, specializing in designing and implementing data solutions with a focus on Databricks.

• Proficient in Data Engineering technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka, alongside the Databricks platform and data science/machine learning tools like pandas and scikit-learn.

• Comprehensive understanding of the complete data analytics workflow, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.

• Skilled in programming languages such as Java, Python, and/or Scala.

• Familiar with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Capable of writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL queries.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with experience in client-facing positions.

• Proficient in creating and delivering detailed presentations and solution documentation.

• Experience in leading teams and mentoring fellow engineers.

• Competent in developing comprehensive technical solutions for production environments.
