This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• You will be tasked with ensuring compliance with all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and mandatory training.
• Identify and qualify opportunities for both current clients and new prospects: This includes aligning Scheduling & Capacity Management solutions with client initiatives, cultivating in-depth customer knowledge and relationships, identifying funding sources, securing executive sponsorship, overcoming challenges, and designing opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrate, propose, and present: This involves showcasing Scheduling & Capacity Management solutions to key stakeholders, articulating a compelling value proposition, crafting comprehensive and innovative proposals, responding to inquiries, building ROI/business cases, and following up promptly and professionally.
• Support the RFP process: In response to requests for proposals, lead proposal teams, assist with quality RFI/RFP response strategies, secure references, and manage pricing strategies.
• Negotiate and close business: This includes drafting and submitting contracts, negotiating terms, securing commitments and signatures, processing contracts within the contract management system, and effectively transitioning clients to the implementation phase to ensure long-term customer success.
• Territory planning and pipeline management: This encompasses developing and updating territory plans, managing the pipeline in the CRM system, regularly updating plans and pipelines, supporting sales leadership in strategic formulation, and presenting plans/pipeline to sales leadership in a clear and concise manner.
• Contribute to the Scheduling & Capacity Management community: This includes developing and sharing best practices and resources, facilitating internal discussions, collaborating with other sales team members, and supporting the internal sales teams' efforts.
• Engage in personal and professional development opportunities: This involves enhancing product knowledge, gaining expertise in healthcare trends related to the Evaluate product portfolio, and continuously improving communication, presentation, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
• Be a value-added member of the broader Scheduling & Capacity Management community: This includes working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Project Managers to create customer solutions that align with our vision, business principles, and values.
• Adopt a Challenger Selling mindset: Recognizing the importance of relationship building while also challenging clients to think differently about their strategic initiatives.
• Understand the target audience: Demonstrating the ability to grasp the needs of stakeholders and target leadership.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Must possess outstanding communication abilities and the capability to quickly forge relationships with individuals from the C-suite to departmental directors and end users.
• High degree of integrity and professionalism, effectively setting expectations.
• Comfortable working independently in an empowering, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Sales experience with a proven track record of at least 5 years of outstanding sales performance in highly competitive settings, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Leadership qualities that promote teamwork while being willing to assume responsibility and accountability.
• Willingness to share success with team members.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Familiarity with Office Suite.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to address practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Capacity to interpret a range of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to supervise and lead other team members within the assigned territory.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Capability to utilize a computer and monitor.
• Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for operating keyboards and phones.
• Ability to speak clearly and in a moderated tone.
