This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Take ownership of the technical pre-sales process for designated enterprise opportunities in ANZ, spanning from discovery to proof-of-concept and proposal stages.
• Ensure the technical precision and quality of solution designs, demonstrations, and proposals for enterprise prospects in ANZ.
• Cultivate trusted relationships as a technical advisor with both technical and business stakeholders of prospective clients across ANZ.
• Convert technical requirements from prospects into actionable feedback for the Engineering and Product teams.
• Lead technical discovery sessions addressing contact centre architecture, integration landscape, and conversational AI needs.
• Create and deliver tailored demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution prototypes.
• Craft the technical components of RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and SOW documents.
• Establish and maintain demo environments, scripts, and technical resources for the pre-sales library.
• Collaborate with ANZ Account Executives to devise win strategies and recognize technical champions.
• Address technical due diligence, security questionnaires, and architecture evaluations.
• Provide insights to Product and Engineering regarding requirements from enterprise prospects and competitive gaps.
• Assist in customer-facing events, webinars, and industry conferences by delivering technical presentations.
• Facilitate the transition from sales to deployment and support the delivery team.
• 5–8 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting for enterprise SaaS or AI platforms.
• Profound knowledge of contact centre technology, CCaaS platforms (such as Genesys, Avaya, NICE, Cisco, etc.), and telephony architecture.
• Experience with conversational AI, NLU/NLP, IVR, or voice automation technologies.
• Capability to prototype and showcase solutions in a live technical setting.
• Strong comprehension of enterprise integration patterns (APIs, REST, SIP, WebRTC).
• Exceptional presentation and technical communication skills — adept at translating intricate AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Consultative mindset — prioritizes listening before designing solutions.
• Collaborative partner to Sales, skilled at navigating complex internal and external stakeholder dynamics.
• Inquisitive and self-motivated — keeps up with rapidly evolving AI capabilities.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and complex, long-cycle enterprise sales environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a significant advantage.
• Previous experience supporting enterprise sales cycles in Australia and/or New Zealand is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with major CCaaS platforms like AWS Connect, Genesys Cloud, NICE CXone, or RingCentral is a plus.
• Familiarity with Omilia's platform or competing conversational AI platforms is a plus.
• Domain expertise in Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Healthcare, or Telecommunications is a plus.
