Solution Engineer, Identity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Specialists during the sales journey

• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical walkthroughs for potential clients

• Support technical workshops, evaluations, and proof-of-concept initiatives

• Assist customers in comprehending authentication, access management, and identity governance

• Investigate integration possibilities with directories, SaaS applications, and enterprise infrastructure

• Resolve technical inquiries during evaluations or demonstrations

• Articulate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences

• Work alongside colleagues to exchange knowledge, enhance demonstrations, and fortify the SE organization

• Examine integrations, APIs, and authentication processes through practical experimentation

• Lead discussions and presentations with engineers and IT stakeholders

• Relate technology capabilities to actual customer challenges

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CISSP, or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance (IGA), or similar security technologies

• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, federation, directory services, and identity lifecycle management

• Familiarity with CyberArk, SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Ping, or Microsoft Entra ID

• Understanding of enterprise directories, SaaS applications, and cloud infrastructure

• Capability to troubleshoot integrations involving APIs, authentication processes, or directory services

• Experience with REST APIs and Postman or comparable tools

• Proficient with command-line tools and basic scripting

• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, or OCI

• Ability to clearly explain technical subjects to both technical and business audiences

• Comfortable presenting and facilitating discussions with engineers and IT stakeholders

• Willingness to travel up to 30%
