Solution Architect – TMS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, optimization, and execution of Blue Yonder Transportation Management software solutions for clients.

• Utilize domain expertise to configure and deliver Blue Yonder solutions in accordance with client specifications and business processes.

• Oversee solution design, which includes construction, validation tasks, and establishing timelines.

• Conduct or facilitate system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment stages.

• Balance project scope, timelines, and requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and timely value delivery.

• Evaluate business needs beyond the standard solution or scope, integration complexity, architectural constraints, and product roadmaps.

• Identify opportunities for incremental revenue with existing clients and projects.

• Relay customer-specific product functionalities and enhancement requests to PMG and PD.

• Support the services team with support cases when not engaged in implementation projects.

• Act as a functional liaison among customer representatives, project managers, technical consultants, and third-party consultants.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience with Blue Yonder’s Transportation Management Systems is preferred.

• Experience in solutions consulting and implementation with other prominent Transportation Management Solutions may be taken into account.

• Proven customer-facing experience in leading requirements gathering, software solution development, and persuading stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills in business analysis.

• Familiarity with and application of statistical algorithms.

• Knowledge of inventory optimization principles.

• Understanding of tactical planning throughout the entire supply chain.

• Capability to prepare and deliver presentations for users, management, and executive audiences.

• Basic proficiency in Excel, including data cleansing and pivot tables.

• Preferred ability to read and execute simple SQL queries.

• Eligibility for SF85P public trust security clearance, depending on assignment.

• Capacity to pass a background check and drug test, provide fingerprints, and supply a photocopy of a US passport or birth certificate, based on assignment requirements.

• An advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Operations Research is preferred.

• A bachelor’s degree along with relevant industry experience may be considered in place of an advanced degree.
