This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Assess customer requirements as reflected in tenders, RFPs, RFIs, and procurement specifications.
• Collect and synthesize business needs, constraints, and limitations from various stakeholders to define architecture drivers and quality attributes.
• Conduct and manage rough estimations and high-level risk assessments.
• Create comprehensive solution concepts, architectural vision, technical stack, work breakdown structure, delivery methodologies, and technical responses.
• Evaluate and compare solution alternatives through trade-off analysis and other structured assessment techniques.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team, business analysts, UX designers, engagement managers, and domain experts to craft competitive proposals.
• Develop technical content for proposals, including architectural vision and diagrams, assumptions, risks, work breakdown structure, estimates, pricing input, and compliance-related information.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, presentations, and proposal discussions.
• Ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, secure, competitive, and aligned with delivery capabilities.
• Create proofs of concept or rapid prototypes to support the technical vision and mitigate solution risks.
• Contribute to statements of work, team qualifications, compliance matrices, technical narratives, and concepts for delivery team composition.
• Articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Assist in the transition from presales to delivery phase through knowledge transfer and architectural oversight at project initiation.
• Continuously enhance team collaboration, processes, templates, and outcomes.
• Over 8 years of experience in software development using technologies such as .NET, JavaScript, or Java.
• More than 3 years of experience in technical leadership and software architecture.
• Familiarity with pricing, effort estimation, and contributions to commercial proposals.
• Experience in the government sector or compliance-intensive environments.
• Strong understanding of AI-related solutions, including designing and positioning AI-enabled systems and integrations during pre-sales engagements.
• Practical experience supporting proposal efforts, particularly RFP and RFI responses and technical bidding activities.
• Good grasp of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), cybersecurity, integration, data management, and modern delivery practices.
• Ability to define architecture drivers, quality attributes, constraints, and trade-offs for complex solutions.
• Strong comprehension of non-functional requirements, such as performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability; familiarity with ISO 25010 and practical experience in gathering and validating NFRs is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex topics.
• Confidence in discussions with senior stakeholders and the ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with clients.
• Business-oriented mindset and flexibility, including the ability to align technical recommendations with client objectives and business impact.
• Proficiency in English at least at an Upper-Intermediate level is preferred, especially for proposal work and client interactions.
• Advanced or native proficiency in the Ukrainian language.
