Solution Architect, Data Modeler – Snowplow, Segment, mParticle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and implement data solutions and models utilizing event-driven data collection platforms like Snowplow, Segment, or mParticle.

• Develop Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architectures based on cloud data warehouses.

• Create real-time or near-real-time analytics pipelines tailored for high-concurrency and low-latency scenarios.

• Oversee the migration of data and ensure parity validation from outdated vendor analytics tools to up-to-date in-house platforms.

• Collaborate with UI/dashboard teams by leveraging knowledge of front-end and full-stack architecture.

• Articulate technical positions clearly to enterprise client stakeholders.

• Manage or provide technical direction to offshore delivery teams.

• Work within Time & Materials (T&M) and staff-augmentation delivery models alongside a client-managed PMO.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of overall experience, including over 8 years in data and solution architecture roles.

• At least 3 years of experience with cloud data warehouse-based medallion architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold), such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.

• Practical experience with event-driven data collection platforms like Snowplow, Segment, or mParticle as a source system.

• Proficient in dbt and workflow orchestration tools, such as Airflow.

• Proven experience in architecting real-time or near-real-time analytics pipelines for high-concurrency and low-latency use cases.

• Background in data migration and parity validation from legacy vendor analytics tools to modern in-house solutions.

• Working knowledge of front-end and full-stack architecture to effectively collaborate with UI development teams.

• Experience operating within T&M and staff-augmentation delivery models alongside a client-managed PMO.

• Excellent client-facing communication abilities and adeptness at presenting technical positions to enterprise client stakeholders.

• Experience in managing or technically directing offshore delivery teams.

• Familiarity with SSO/Okta-based role access models and frameworks for enterprise data governance.
