Solution Architect – Data & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive Data & Analytics architectures that align with client business goals and technological strategies.

• Facilitate solution discovery workshops and architecture discussions with client stakeholders.

• Convert business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.

• Design contemporary cloud-based data platforms, analytical ecosystems, and AI-integrated solutions.

• Create architecture blueprints that encompass data ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, security, analytics, and reporting.

• Provide clients with guidance on best practices, emerging technologies, and architectural decisions.

• Work in collaboration with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, Consultants, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Offer technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams during the implementation phase.

• Address complex technical challenges and maintain architectural consistency.

• Set and advocate for standards, best practices, reusable assets, and reference architectures.

• Design and propose lakehouse, data mesh, and cloud-native architecture patterns.

• Engage in presales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and crafting technical proposals.

• Assist with RFI and RFP submissions by providing architecture designs, technical recommendations, and delivery strategies.

• Present proposed solutions to both technical and business audiences, ranging from project teams to executive stakeholders.

• Contribute to capability development, mentoring programs, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and the growth of the Competency Center.

• Allocate approximately 50% of your time to client delivery and 50% to presales efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data & Analytics.

• Practical experience with at least 2 Data & Analytics platforms, including Databricks.

• Possession of Databricks Professional certification.

• Demonstrated skills in data platform design and architecture.

• Excellent client-facing abilities, including leading technical discussions, presenting solutions, and establishing stakeholder trust.

• Nice to have: Databricks Architect Champion certification.

• Nice to have: Cloud architect certification in Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Nice to have: Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or BigQuery.

• Nice to have: Background in lakehouse, data mesh, and data governance.

• Nice to have: Experience in GenAI / ML solution design.

• Nice to have: Proficient in SQL and Python; familiarity with dbt or similar ELT tools.

• Nice to have: Experience in presales with RFPs/RFIs and technical proposals.

• Strategic thinker with an ability to execute hands-on.
