Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the business on technical and architectural matters.

• Develop and maintain the Software Architecture Document (SAD), encompassing both business and technical architecture.

• Collaborate with business analysts during requirement gathering, risk assessment, and ensuring architectural alignment with business strategy.

• Prepare IT solution documentation in accordance with corporate architecture principles and banking compliance requirements.

• Ensure that APIs comply with technical standards and best security practices (JWT, OAuth 2.0, RBAC, OWASP Top 10).

• Provide practical technical support to teams: conduct code reviews, advise on architectural approaches, and assist in resolving complex technical issues.

• Work with development teams on designing integrations and implementing business logic principles.

• Maintain architectural integrity and consistency in the technical solutions of the development team.

• Coordinate the management of technical debt and prioritize the architectural backlog.

• Analyze and optimize infrastructure costs.

• Mentor and develop members of the development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and a security-first approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of IT experience with proven hands-on experience as a Solution Architect in complex client-oriented systems.

• Deep expertise in API design and management, including OpenAPI Specification 3.0 and API Gateway patterns.

• Excellent knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture, experience in diagnosing and resolving performance issues, and practical implementation of these solutions in production environments.

• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), enterprise integration patterns, and resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker, Saga).

• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and modern development practices (Clean Code, testing, algorithm design).

• Familiarity with contemporary approaches to AI solution development and product lifecycle management.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as caching strategies.

• Experience with process orchestration tools and BPM systems (Camunda or similar).

• Practical experience with the AWS cloud platform (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda), knowledge of networking fundamentals, and cost analysis and optimization of cloud infrastructure.

• Knowledge of observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) and deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary Deployment).

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical specialists and business representatives.

• Experience conducting workshops, engaging and negotiating with stakeholders, as well as providing technical leadership and mentorship.
