This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leadership in Solution and Architecture.
• Engage in discussions with customers regarding small to medium complexity projects to comprehend the existing architecture and gather requirements for the future solution.
• Take part in collaborative application design sessions, ensuring documentation of design inquiries.
• Foster a successful working relationship with customer architects and the project team.
• Assist in the creation of Solution Landscape, Context diagrams, and Sequence diagrams for designated projects.
• Support the development of High-Level Design documents and offer guidance to developers and solution configurators to facilitate the creation of detailed designs.
• Provide weekly project status updates to the Solution Architecture leadership and assist in the preparation of report documentation.
• Stay informed about new releases pertaining to integration, architectural, and functional capabilities of all Insurity products.
• Identify and document risks or issues that arise during technical and architectural discussions, escalating them to Project Managers and Solution Architecture leadership.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and job-related best practices through reading relevant publications, articles, and blogs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Solution Architect, Implementation Consultant, or similar capacity within Professional Services or consulting, working directly with external clients.
• Experience in delivering or configuring core P&C insurance systems, including policy administration, billing, claims, or underwriting workbenches.
• Proven ability to design and document comprehensive solutions encompassing configuration, integrations (APIs, file-based, services), and data flows.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities; capable of challenging requirements and suggesting practical alternatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including:
• Clear and audience-appropriate design documentation (such as solution designs, interface specifications, and decision logs).
• Effective facilitation of both remote and in-person design and review sessions.
• Strong time management skills, including planning, prioritization, and managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
• Proficient in working both collaboratively within cross-functional teams and independently on assigned solution areas.
• High attention to detail with the capacity to link detailed design decisions to overarching business and architectural objectives.
