This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Designing and implementing a diverse array of technical solutions for clients across various industries, utilizing cutting-edge geospatial and enterprise technologies.
• Collaborating closely with skilled colleagues who are enthusiastic about geography, technology, and addressing significant challenges.
• Developing a comprehensive understanding of customer organizations and how Esri technology can assist them in reaching their objectives.
• Crafting robust, scalable, and commercially viable technical designs employing enterprise IT and Esri platform architectures, including contemporary cloud patterns.
• Assisting Customer Success Managers in identifying opportunities where geospatial technology, data, and workflows can provide substantial value.
• Executing innovative projects and investigating emerging technology trends such as IoT, real-time GIS, big data analytics, AI/ML, 3D modeling, and digital twins.
• Offering technical leadership and mentorship, while contributing to the broader technical strategy of the organization.
• Must be eligible and willing to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to at least Security Check (SC) level; some positions may require Developed Vetting (DV).
• Have experience in engaging with clients and actively participating in the design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise systems.
• Possess strong knowledge in areas such as databases, web technologies, application integration, software engineering, networking, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), as well as disaster recovery and high availability.
• Be comfortable working with GIS technologies and geospatial data; experience in designing geospatial solutions is valuable, though extensive ArcGIS expertise is not mandatory.
• Understand principles of cybersecurity, including firewalls, zero-trust methodologies, and SAML.
• Be knowledgeable about automation tools, Azure DevOps, notebooks, and serverless computing.
• Enjoy collaborating with developers using programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Be confident in designing solutions that incorporate REST APIs.
• Foster positive relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
