Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist Senior Architects, colleagues, and junior team members in defining and implementing the IT strategy and vision aligned with business objectives.

• Develop, document, and contribute to the technology roadmap for Empower.

• Create reference architectures that illustrate a comprehensive understanding of technology components and their interrelations.

• Design and enhance complex systems to be cloud-compatible or cloud-native when applicable.

• Formulate strategies and designs for migrating applications to cloud infrastructures.

• Engage in evaluating new applications and technical alternatives, challenge existing norms, create robust business cases, and influence direction while building relationships with key stakeholders.

• Advocate for best practices, standards, and guidance, while also providing coaching to technology team members.

• Offer leadership recommendations on strategic architectural considerations related to process design and orchestration.

• Provide strong guidance and direction on development and engineering practices.

• Collaborate with other business and technology teams on architectural and design challenges.

• Adapt to evolving security conditions and respond accordingly.

• Implement and suggest security protocols.

• Offer thought leadership, advocacy, clarity, assurance, and maintenance of the enterprise architecture discipline.

• Provide solutions, guidance, and implementation support within full stack development teams.

• Propose long-term scalable and high-performance architectural modifications while maintaining cost efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in architecting Enterprise Solutions, Data Integration, and emerging technologies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• A self-motivated individual who flourishes in a team-oriented environment.

• Proven track record of continuous learning in new technologies.

• Strong development capabilities, including the ability to write complex code and optimize performance.

• Experience in solution design.

• Basic understanding of data science principles and data requirements.

• Experience in the Financial Services industry.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Big Data experience.

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with containerized applications.

• Project management experience.

• Proficiency in Spark, Scala, Java, Pro-C, and Python programming languages.
