This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Proactively managing a caseload of small, fast, intermediary, and/or multi-track litigated claims while strictly adhering to the Service Level Agreement(s) established with the insurer client, and providing support to senior colleagues on more complex cases.
• Responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of your caseload, including billing in strict compliance with the Service Level Agreement(s) established with the insurer client, managing work in progress (WIP), handling debt, and resolving general accounting inquiries.
• Daily responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following: analyzing evidence and developing case strategies that consider both technical and commercial factors, drafting pleadings, witness statements, and letters of response, conducting (telephone) negotiations on claims, preparing comprehensive counter schedules, and ensuring efficient sound file management—including consistent and accurate billing, WIP management, case closures, and updating Management Information.
• Participate in business development and client training events as required.
• Must be a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive (with litigation rights), or barrister with a minimum of 1 year's relevant litigation experience, or a paralegal eager to embark on a career in a dynamic and growing field of law.
• Ideally, possess cross-border experience; if not, strong defendant litigation experience is essential.
• Confident in handling multi-track cases.
• Strong litigation skills are required.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus, but not mandatory.
