This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee intricate inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Guide and mentor aspiring technicians.
• Develop PLOTO and LOTO Switch plans for necessary approvals.
• Conduct extensive inspections of solar power facilities.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance initiatives.
• Manage and educate junior technicians on inspection and maintenance practices.
• Identify and resolve complex system challenges.
• Employ advanced diagnostic tools and software to assess and rectify system performance issues.
• Generate and maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• 2–4 years of experience in the solar sector or a related electrical field.
• Valid New Mexico CID Journeyman Electrician certificate, EE-98J classification.
• Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certifications.
• FAA Part 107 Certification or demonstrated proficiency in operating drones for aerial thermographic purposes.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, solar energy technologies, and grid-tied systems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic instruments such as I/V Curve Tracers, Meggers, and Isolation testers.
• Capability to read and interpret intricate electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Up to an 8% performance bonus paid annually.
