Software Verification Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Execute verification of customer software utilizing the provided technical documentation.

• Achieve software builds across a variety of programming languages.

• Recognize, troubleshoot, and resolve build issues to ensure that software adheres to quality standards.

• Conduct additional feature testing as needed to verify that the built software functions as documented.

• Assess software requirements and technical documentation to comprehend build processes and dependencies.

• Effectively communicate with team members and clients to gather requirements and provide status updates.

• Remain informed about emerging technologies and programming languages pertinent to software verification.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of verification processes and practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of software development experience is advantageous.

• At least 2 years of familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux, Windows, and Mac environments.

• Basic knowledge of popular backend languages such as Python, Java, NodeJS, and PHP.

• Previous experience or understanding of database and server configurations, including MongoDB, SQL, and MySQL.

• Prior knowledge or experience with Git.

• Foundational knowledge of front-end languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial.

• Basic understanding of API configuration is advantageous.

• Capability to follow technical build documentation meticulously and systematically.

• Experience with various build tools, including but not limited to msbuild, webpack, maven, and similar tools is advantageous.

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in multiple programming languages and software development tools.

• Analytical Skills: Strong capabilities in analyzing technical documentation and identifying key requirements.

• Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
