Software Engineer – Enfoque en Inteligencia Artificial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance components for conversational agents using Python and AI services.

• Implement and optimize prompts, tools, and conversational flows.

• Integrate agents with APIs, internal services, and various communication channels.

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to transform functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Analyze agent behavior through testing, metrics, validation, and user feedback.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of generative AI solutions through experimentation and iterative adjustments.

• Document components, technical decisions, and best development practices.

• Assist in the configuration and integration of services in Azure following established guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software development or automation.

• Experience using Python for application development, scripting, or integrations.

• Proficiency in consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with JSON structures and information processing.

• Experience using Git as a version control system.

• Solid understanding of software development principles, debugging, and programming best practices.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of Language Models (LLMs).

• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and conversation design.

• General comprehension of how to integrate AI models into applications.

• Interest in building solutions using generative AI applied to business.

• Desirable

• Experience developing virtual assistants, chatbots, or AI agents.

• Basic knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Functions, or App Services.

• Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar technologies.

• Participation in personal, freelance, open source, or academic projects related to AI or automation.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Technological curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.

• Clear communication with both technical and business profiles.

• Ability to work collaboratively.

• Proactive and results-oriented.

• Attention to detail and focus on quality.

• Experience in developing machine learning models from scratch is not required; the role focuses on the implementation, integration, and evolution of solutions based on generative AI.
