Software Test Engineer – Contract Role

📋 Description

• Become a member of the Software QA team, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of testing frameworks for back-end services.

• Take initiative in identifying issues and developing automated test cases.

• Collaborate effectively across Engineering, Product Management, and Project teams.

• Guarantee product quality from the initial concept through to the final release.

• Operate in a fully remote setting while ensuring engagement and communication among teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is highly preferred. Candidates with equivalent hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation in back-end systems are also welcome to apply.

• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities.

• Excel in designing test cases and documenting test descriptions/test plans.

• Take pleasure in determining what should be tested, creating the tests, and implementing them. You should be capable of diagnosing potential bugs before they arise and isolating existing ones.

• Have knowledge of and experience with Java, SQL, and Python. Familiarity with AWS data tools (S3, Redshift, RDS, and EMR) is advantageous.

• Show a strong commitment to technical quality assurance as an integral part of the development lifecycle.

• Implement automated tests and conduct functional and regression testing.

• Be adaptable and ready to test/regress a significant volume of changes on a daily basis.
