This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute methodologies for quality assurance and quality control, alongside testing frameworks.
• Establish and advocate for standards in software development lifecycles, testing practices, documentation, and maintenance efforts.
• Conduct code and product evaluations throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design, implement, and uphold both manual and automated testing strategies across various applications and services.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and monitor software defects until resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
• Assess software quality tools, testing frameworks, and industry best practices, offering recommendations for ongoing improvement.
• Support testing initiatives across multiple Agile delivery teams and manage cross-team testing dependencies.
• Validate application functionality, performance, reliability, and security needs.
• Contribute to CI/CD testing practices, ensuring code validation in non-production environments prior to release.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), release validation, and activities related to production deployment.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 7 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, testing, or quality engineering roles.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality assurance methodologies, testing strategies, and quality standards.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting code and product reviews throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Skilled in creating, executing, and maintaining both automated and manual test plans and test cases.
• Experienced in identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking software defects.
• Proven ability to support Agile software development teams.
• Experience in testing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software systems.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, and modern web application architectures.
• Proficient with testing and quality tools including Selenium, Cypress, SonarQube, Checkmarx, JMeter, Cucumber, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
