Software Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain automated testing frameworks for two web applications, incorporating functional, regression, and integration test suites.

• Monitor and communicate automated test outcomes, pinpoint flaky tests, and uphold suite reliability over time.

• Create and implement thorough test plans and test cases for both legacy and new system components.

• Conduct manual functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing as required.

• Assess application and system performance against technical specifications.

• Collaborate with developers to pinpoint and rectify software defects.

• Ensure data integrity during database migrations and system updates.

• Carry out security and compliance testing to guarantee adherence to government regulations.

• Document and report testing outcomes, including comprehensive bug reports.

• Engage in code reviews from a quality assurance viewpoint.

• Contribute to defining and enhancing QA processes and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Science, or a related discipline.

• At least eight (8) years of professional software testing experience.

• Strong, proven experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, or similar).

• Familiarity with software development and testing processes in a government context.

• Experience in integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).

• Experience managing automated testing across multiple applications concurrently.

• Proficiency in API testing and automation utilizing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

• Experience in drafting test reports, test plans, and test procedures that document all results for each testing activity.

• Experience in testing web applications and database-driven systems.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Level security clearance.
