This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
β’ Support a variety of software-related activities, including but not limited to assistance with testing, configuration, quality control, deployment, and data editing.
β’ Execute Geodatabase editing, querying, and analysis tasks utilizing Esri or GeoCurrent software tools.
β’ Aid in the installation and configuration of Esri, GeoCurrent, and other third-party software applications.
β’ Deliver technical support to clients for GeoCurrent and Esri software products.
β’ Monitor daily activities and provide updates to the supervisor.
β’ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
β’ Report any unsafe activities to the supervisor and/or Human Resources.
β’ Carry out additional approved tasks as assigned by the supervisor and department management.
β’ A bachelorβs degree in Geography, Computer Science, or another closely related field, along with a minimum of one (1) year of experience demonstrating proficiency in software applications and the Esri ArcGIS suite of products, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Experience in preparing formal written reports for external clients.
β’ Professional GIS experience in the utility sector is advantageous.
β’ Familiarity with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and SQL Server is a plus.
β’ Professional experience in client interaction.
β’ Ability to receive training and achieve a level of Esri certification as directed by the supervisor.
