Software Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical design and architecture of full-stack Java applications utilizing Spring Boot and contemporary front-end frameworks.

• Drive the incorporation of AI/ML capabilities into enterprise systems, featuring LLM-powered functions, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted workflows.

• Engage in hands-on development while guiding the team on best practices, code quality, and modern engineering standards.

• Mentor and coach engineers at various levels, promoting growth and technical excellence.

• Collaborate closely with product, data, and AI teams to establish technical strategies and deliver comprehensive solutions.

• Oversee system performance, scalability, observability, and security throughout the stack.

• Advocate for the use of AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance velocity, reliability, and the developer experience.

• Facilitate technical discussions with clients, translating intricate concepts into straightforward recommendations.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices to ensure seamless and reliable deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional software engineering experience, with significant full-stack Java development expertise.

• Profound knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and distributed system design.

• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.

• Proven track record of integrating AI/ML services or developing AI-enhanced product features.

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Demonstrated capability to lead engineering teams, mentor developers, and make informed technical decisions.

• Experience with observability, performance tuning, and secure architecture patterns.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
