Software Team Lead – Engine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Unite your team to evaluate the progress of their assigned tasks.

• Examine significant bugs and identify the most effective solutions to resolve them.

• Maintain regular communication with leads from different disciplines to strategize, assess risks, and ensure timely delivery.

• Collaborate with your team members on coding activities on a daily basis.

• Keep your project manager updated on the status of your tasks and meet with other leads to discuss process enhancements and share technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.

• Strong expertise in low-level programming, particularly C++.

• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or others.

• Several years of substantial programming experience.

• Experience with game engines or in embedded software development or related fields.

• Proven experience managing a team of programmers or equivalent leadership roles.

• Exceptional communication skills and strategic leadership capabilities.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and concentrate on delivering solutions.

• Knowledge of video game production and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with non-technical stakeholders.
