Software Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Identify and resolve intricate technical challenges within cloud and on-premises production settings, assisting researchers in oncology, genomics, and other fields.

• Establish and manage customer infrastructure utilizing Terraform, AWS, EKS, Linux, and containers, directly aiding the deployment lifecycle for an expanding global clientele.

• Contribute to monitoring and observability frameworks by creating Grafana dashboards and fine-tuning alerts to ensure the health of hundreds of production deployments.

• Develop automation and scripting solutions (Python, Bash) that minimize operational burdens and enhance consistency throughout the infrastructure.

• Deliver dedicated French-language support for EMEA clients, collaborating with the existing regional team to increase the hours and languages available for service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional proficiency in both French and English.

• A minimum of two years' experience in software support engineering, cloud operations, or a related technical domain, focusing on production environments.

• Familiarity with Linux system administration, AWS cloud services, and containerized environments.

• Competence in Python and Bash scripting for automation purposes.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (such as Terraform) and monitoring solutions (like Grafana, CloudWatch).
