Software ServiceNow Admin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Configure, sustain, and enhance all facets of ServiceNow SAM Pro.

• Offer assistance for license reconciliation processes.

• Administer and oversee software asset lifecycles within SAM Pro.

• Provide operational support for Publisher Packs.

• Diagnose and improve SAM-related dashboards, reports, and metrics.

• Assist with software contract management, service catalog, and procurement.

• Facilitate integrations to import software asset data into ServiceNow SAM Pro.

• Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance data quality processes.

• Troubleshoot and rectify data discrepancies and integration challenges.

• Execute routine ServiceNow platform administration tasks.

• Handle and resolve incidents and service requests associated with SAM Pro.

• Aid in ServiceNow platform upgrades, patching, and testing activities.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.

• Collaborate efficiently with various IT teams to support software asset management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to obtain and sustain a Secret clearance.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience (a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field can replace 5 years of experience).

• More than 3 years of practical experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.

• At least 2 years of focused, extensive experience specifically with ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro).

• Demonstrated experience with data integration within ServiceNow.

• Strong comprehension of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes.

• Knowledge of various software licensing models.

• Proficient in ServiceNow platform administration and development.

• In-depth understanding of the ServiceNow CMDB.

• Ability to diagnose technical issues within ServiceNow SAM Pro.

• Experience in scripting within ServiceNow for custom solutions and data manipulation.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations.

• Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
