Software QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of both web and mobile applications.

• Design, implement, and uphold comprehensive testing strategies.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct both manual and automated testing procedures.

• Identify and report defects, create testing documentation, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

• Utilize modern AI/LLM tools to boost testing efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum Experience Required: 5 years.

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and plans. Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and API-based applications.

• Conduct both functional and non-functional testing to evaluate application behavior, usability, performance, and reliability.

• Execute sanity and regression testing for new releases and production deployments.

• Perform API testing utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies.

• Create and maintain detailed test reports and testing documentation.

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the development lifecycle.

• Leverage LLM/AI tools to generate, review, and optimize test cases and testing strategies.

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.

• Participate in release validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress automation frameworks.

• Experience in mobile automation testing using Appium.

• Ability to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites.
