Software Manual QA Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Improve the quality of Higharc's platform through close collaboration with our Engineering and Product teams.

• Conduct manual testing on new features, regression scenarios, and complex user flows within a modern web-based CAD application.

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases in alignment with product specifications and user stories.

• Work alongside developers and PMs to comprehend technical implementations and pinpoint edge cases in new features prior to their release to end users.

• Document bugs using our issue tracking system (Linear).

• Validate fixes and contribute to QA sign-off for product releases.

• Collaborate with automated test outputs and assist in identifying gaps in test coverage, enabling our automation engineers to address these gaps.

• Engage in release QA coordination.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mid to expert level drafter with substantial BIM modeling/CAD expertise (e.g., Revit / AutoCad).

• Over 3 years of experience in production homebuilding, option management, and documentation of master plan sets.

• Proficient in testing features that involve real-time collaboration, 3D rendering, or document generation.

• Exceptional written communication and bug-reporting abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and capability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Must reside in Brazil.

• Understanding of the software development and testing process is advantageous.

• Experience working in an agile, fast-paced software team is a plus.

• Familiarity with tools for managing tests and bugs, such as Linear and Qase, is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of browser developer tools is beneficial.

• A fundamental understanding of test automation is a plus.
