This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Lead and cultivate engineering teams with an emphasis on high performance and personal development.
• Comprehend the company’s strategic and operational objectives, ensuring technical direction aligns with these strategies.
• Guarantee the delivery of technical solutions that meet business requirements, collaborating with PMs, Designers, and other leaders.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Foster a collaborative atmosphere, emphasizing psychological safety and continuous feedback.
• Oversee the creation of technical strategies for team domains, advocating for engineering best practices (Clean Code, TDD, CI/CD, DevSecOps).
• Engage in defining and monitoring OKRs and technical metrics (lead time, stability, test coverage, etc.).
• Encourage Inner Source initiatives, utilization of RFCs, and a culture of living documentation.
• Navigate ambiguous challenges and complex prioritization, balancing deadlines with quality.
• Influence the team’s decision-making regarding solution specifics.
• Ensure the quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices of the product/platform.
• Define, gather, analyze, and oversee application/product health metrics.
• Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary technical teams grounded in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Serve as an ambassador for our culture of high collaboration and quality within the team.
• Experience in environments characterized by robust and scalable architecture.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in guiding teams through the adoption of architectural patterns and coding standards that are consistent and well-documented.
• Experience in Mobile development for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and the HTTP protocol.
• In-depth knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Comprehensive understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, and Design Patterns.
• Experience in investigations, troubleshooting, telemetry, monitoring, observability, and debugging across various systems.
• Familiarity with Software Testing methodologies: unit, integration, stress, mutation, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Knowledge of databases along with relational and non-relational data modeling, caching strategies, and distributed processing.
• Understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation, and the underlying culture.
• Proficiency with metrics and marketing tools (e.g., Firebase, Google Analytics, Amplitude).
• Experience in managing mobile platforms (internal developer client).
