Software Engineering Manager – Global Licensing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of team deliverables and objectives.

• Establish technical strategies and engineering best practices in partnership with senior engineers.

• Actively support career development and provide technical guidance to engineers.

• Recruit, build, and manage your team while overseeing performance.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure effective project management.

• Develop, drive, and enhance a dynamic and highly efficient engineering team.

• Lead the creation and delivery of innovative products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.

• You should be a passionate engineering leader with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing engineering teams of 6-10+ software engineers.

• You are a hands-on leader who writes code, performs code reviews, and engages in architectural design and strategy work.

• Effective communication skills and a proven history of successful hiring and team building are essential.

• You excel in ambiguous, fast-paced, and evolving environments.

• As an empathetic leader, you foster strong teams.

• Experience with Java, Angular, React, and AWS is advantageous, although not required.
