Software Engineering Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead engineering teams in the design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of product builds.

• Develop and deliver automated build and publishing capabilities to facilitate continuous integration.

• Oversee the planning of builds, sprints, and their execution.

• Ensure that all work items, modifications, risks, and retrospectives are documented in approved tools.

• Guide integration engineering efforts, including the development of interfaces with enterprise data and legacy systems.

• Ensure adherence to the enterprise DevSecOps release framework.

• Collaborate with technical personnel and integration partners to troubleshoot issues.

• Ensure that necessary components are transitioned to the appropriate technical environments.

• Assist in the creation of Deployment Packages and maintain updated design documentation.

• Provide guidance on AI/ML integration, predictive analytics, and supply chain optimization capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field along with 8 years of pertinent experience.

• Over 8 years of software engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a technical lead role on federal IT programs.

• Proven experience with SAFe Agile, DevSecOps, and hybrid SDLC methodologies.

• Expertise in CI/CD toolchains, including GitHub, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Jira, and ServiceNow.

• Experience working with cloud-based development environments such as AWS, Azure, government cloud, and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems and integration patterns, including FHIR, ESB/EAI, and REST APIs.

• Understanding of approved technology standards and enterprise DevSecOps release frameworks.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

• Preferred certifications include: SAFe Architect; SAFe Agile Product and Solution Management; SAFe PO/PM; SAFe Agilist (SA); TOGAF; COBIT; Red Hat Certified Engineer or Specialist in Cloud-Native Applications.
